John, co-founder of First Prise Properties, has over 16 years management & marketing experience as well as a degree in marketing and earned an MBA from St. Bonaventure University. He and his brother, Tim, started First Prise Properties with one double house in University Heights in Buffalo and have consistently expanded the concept of reasonably priced housing managed by a team concept throughout Western New York.

Tim, co-founder of First Prise Properties, has over 15 years in financial management experience as well as a degree in accounting from St. Bonaventure University. He and his brother, John, started First Prise Properties with one double in University Heights in Buffalo and consistently expanded the concept of reasonably priced housing managed by a "team" concept throughout Western New York.
Mike Coogan, Properties Manager (mcoogan@firstpriseproperties.com)
Mike brought his over 25 years of property management experience to us at the start of First Prise Properties. He has been an integral part of our "team" since we started. He has been with us through each acquisition, and is an expert on all of our complexes. He also holds a Lead Paint Certification, which is constantly updated through all necessary classes, and also attended Erie Community College.
Darrin Harzewski, Southtowns Manager (dharzewski@firstpriseproperties.com)
Darrin brings over 10 years of management experience to our team. He has worked for large companies, such as AT&T, and earned a degree from Medaille College. Darrin is currently working on his MBA. He is our Southtowns Manager, in charge of Lake Heights Apartments and Wynterbrooke Estates. Darrin adds the calm, thoughtful personality of a seasoned manager to our "team." He has daily interaction with our customers, and has won praise as an intelligent, caring individual from our large base of Southtowns residents.
Sean Coogan, Maintenance
Sean brings 10 years of property repair experience to our team and holds the honor of being Mike’s son. He has been building and repairing property his whole life and spent countless hours by his Dad’s side learning the business and holding several different jobs in the field before joining our "team." Sean’s cognitive approach to problems, and his pleasant demeanor toward our customers has won him numerous praises in the form of letters and emails from our residents.
John Bindics, Maintenance
John is a young, self starter who brings energy and enthusiasm to our team. He is a hard working, dedicated individual who puts the customer's needs first. He assesses a problem quickly, and gets to the root of it, and does a professional job every time. he is a fantastic addition to our team.
Stacie Carney, Cleaning
Stacie brings to our team a person willing to go the extra mile to make sure our "new" customers have a pleasant moving-in experience. Stacie brings with her a desire to do things differently, improve upon ideas she implemented, and stick with a project until it is completed. Stacie also realizes moving is not necessarily a "fun" experience, and she does her best to make sure our new residents are moving into a clean, fresh environment.
Feliz Cedrone, Painting
Feliz has devoted himself wholeheartedly to developing a growing effort for us. That effort is to have our own painting crew that will take on the responsibility of creating a part of our "team" dedicated to the concept of "welcome home." This concept will center around the clean, fresh look of a new home when our residents arrive at their unit, ready to move in.
Brian Stewart, Maintenance
Brian brings over 10 years of mechanical expertise to First Prise Properties. Brian brings over 10 years experience to our "team." Brian is a quick learner and self starter who will solve a problem quickly and is not afraid to tackle new challenges. Brian has worked in a couple of states, in property upkeep, and brings extensive knowledge to our team.
Jennifer Vaughn, Office Coordinator (jvaughn@firstpriseproperties.com)
Jennifer brings over 10 years experience of dealing with customers to First Prise Properties. Jennifer has been in the customer service field since she was 15 years old, and is an expert in handling resident issues and concerns. Her pleasant demeanor and positive attitude has won her accolades with all our residents. Jennifer is a self starter, starting and completing tasks for residents in record time. She is our "t" in "team", and offers a fresh outlook to both "team members" and residents alike.
